This policy covers Pennant: Free Shipping Bar, an app for Shopify (the "app") that shows announcement and free shipping messages on a merchant's online store. The app is made by Apter Enterprises LLC ("we").
The app stores only the bar settings a merchant enters (message text, links, colors, free shipping amount, display rules). These are saved inside the merchant's own Shopify store as app data. We don't run a separate database and don't copy settings to our servers.
The app doesn't collect, store or share any personal information about a store's customers. On the storefront it reads the current cart total in the shopper's browser to show how far they are from free shipping. That total isn't sent to us.
When a merchant opens the app in the Shopify admin, our server checks which plan the store is on using Shopify's billing records. We use the store's Shopify ID for this and don't keep it after answering. Shopify's own records of installs and charges are covered by Shopify's privacy policy.
Because we hold no customer data, there's nothing to export or delete for customer data requests. When a merchant uninstalls the app, Shopify removes the app's settings from the store.
